Weston Manor History

Weston Manor was built in 1961, on a 6-acre plot that includes a 1920's farm house. The Park was purchased in 1964 by Bill and Betty McFerren, and remains a family-owned business to this day. It lies close to 17th and Main, a short distance from the heart of downtown Longmont. As the city has grown and expanded around it, Weston Manor has remained true to its roots: a quiet community where residents are treated with respect and courtesy.

For prospective residents, we periodically have both rentals and homes for sale. If you are over the age of 55 and would like to become a resident, we encourage you to check back periodically, as new listings come available throughout the year.

About Longmont

Longmont has its official founding date recorded at 1971. Originally the town encompassed only a square mile, and the founders, a group of people from Chicago, sold membership in the town. After the Colorado Central Railroad line was built through the area, the town expanded rapidly.

Over the years, many companies have built large facilities in the city, including IBM, Seagate, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Longmont is 30 minutes north of Denver, and 20 minutes northwest of Boulder.
